Smart lock installation FAQs

How many locks can I get installed for $99?

Your promotion code is unique to your purchase and is limited to the installation of one Level Lock or Level Lock Pro. If you purchase additional locks or other Level products, additional fees may apply.

Can I have locks installed at different properties?

Installation of multiple smart locks or products within the same appointment must be completed at the same physical address.

Are there any additional fees?

If your door requires modifications significantly beyond standard adjustments, your OnTech technician may determine that additional fees are necessary to complete the installation.

How soon can I book the installation appointment?

Allow 3-5 days for your Level smart lock to arrive to your house and please pick a date and time that you’ll be home for your install appointment.

Installation appointments must be claimed within 6 months of your Level lock purchase. The promotion code will expire after this period.

Do I need to be home during the installation?

Yes, please pick a date and time that you will be home for the installation.

Do I need to provide anything for the technician?

OnTech's professional installers will come prepared with all the equipment they need to install your smart lock and qualifying accessories. Please ensure the product is at your home at the time of the installation.

Please note, in order for the technician to set up the Level App, they will need access to your phone. If you would like the technician to setup your lock on any smart home platforms, please ensure you have the proper hub device(s) at the time of installation.

Some things to note: Confirm your door(s) are compatible with a Level smart lock. Failed appointments due to incompatible locks or doors, the product not being available during installation, or location inaccessibility are not eligible for a refund of your $99 installation payment. You will need to be home during the installation for the OnTech technician to access your door. To ensure the Level app is set up, they will also need access to your cell phone. Your promotion code is unique to your purchase and is limited to the installation of one lock. If you purchase additional locks or other Level products, additional fees may apply. Installation of multiple smart locks or products within the same appointment must be completed at the same physical address. Any missed appointments or cancellations less than 4 hours ahead of a scheduled installation are not eligible for a refund of your $99 installation payment. If your door requires modifications significantly beyond standard adjustments, your OnTech technician may determine that additional fees are necessary to complete the installation. Installation appointments must be claimed within 6 months of your Level lock purchase. The promotion code will expire after this period.
