Eight years ago, Ken and I founded Level Home, Inc. to create innovative home products that brought families together by simplifying their everyday lives while still respecting the design integrity of their home. We built a company with immense engineering, marketing, and design capabilities that thrive to this day. We brought to life the Level Lock and expanded into the multifamily space, creating Level M, the most reliable and technically advanced platform of its kind.
Today, we are taking the next steps on this exciting journey.
ASSA ABLOY has acquired our Level Lock hardware business, IP, Level brand, and related teams. Level Lock will operate as an independent brand and subsidiary of ASSA ABLOY. This transaction allows the company’s original founding mission to grow and expand with support from a global leader in access solutions.
Level’s multifamily platform, known as Level M, will continue to operate as a standalone entity under the new name Ambient Property Technologies. Under this new structure, Ambient will focus exclusively on delivering the next-generation platform to multifamily customers.
Ken and I will move to ASSA ABLOY and continue to lead the Level Lock business. Mike Rovito will take over as CEO of Ambient Property Technologies.
